I/ OBJECTIVES

By the end of the lesson, students can revise the vocab , grammar they've learnt in Unit 1 make the presentation about their places of interest or a local product confidently.

- Be confident and friendly with the new school environment

- Develope listening, speaking skills and cooperative interaction

II. Looking back :

2.Complete the second sentence in ech pair by putting the correct form of a verb from the box into each blank. (P14)

- Ss do this exercise individually, then compare their answers with a partner.

- Elicit the answers from Ss.

3. Complete the passage wth the words/ phrases from the box. (P14)

- Ss do this exercise individually.

- Have some Ss read out their answers. - Confirm the correct ones.

 

 

III.Grammar.

4. Complete the complex sentences with your own ideas.

-  Ss complete the sentences with their own ideas.

- Call on two Ss to write their answers on the board.

- Other Ss give feedback.

- Check their answers.

 

5. Rewrite each sentence so that it contains the phrasal verb in brackets.

- Ss write the sentences individually.

- Have two Ss write the sentences on the board.

- Ask  other Ss to give comments.

 

- Correct the sentences if needed.

 

 

 

6. Work in groups... (P15)

- Ss work in groups to play the game.

- One student is the group secretary.

- Group members take turns to think of a place of interest they have guessed.

- Finally, the secretary reports on the places.
